Outfitters Footwear Collection 2019 Comparison and Critical Review

Whenever we talk about men’s footwear collection in Pakistan we remember few brands such as Outfitters, Breakout, Adidas, Nike, Hush puppies, Borjan, Bata, Servis etc. On the other hand, when we start comparison among these brands specifically between local and international brands of footwear in Pakistan, a lot of people just talk about quality and price comparison.

Yesterday I was watching a vlog of a Pakistani youtuber. Initially he defined the product of outfitters means footwear very well but, as he starts comparison about the design. He straight away told that "Outfitters is copying the designs of Nike and Adidas". He shows that by edit the product design using adobe photoshop in his video. I feel really bad about his verdict. Because just to make money out of that video he demoralizes or create a negative word of mouth about the leading casual brand of Pakistan.

So, I decided to give a review. First of all, outfitters is not providing luxury shoes. Outfitters is providing fast trending casual shoes in affordable ranges. If we compare the price of outfitters and let’s suppose Nike. Outfitters shoes range starts from 3490 to 3990. While Nike Shoes range starts from Rs. 12000 to 30000. So, if we just compare on the basis of price there is no comparison between these two brands.

Coming towards the design comparison as he edited the shoes in videos, I must say there is not a huge innovation in shoes. All the designers are just playing little bid with color combination and upper design of the shoes, rest of the original product or base is same for everyone. As he mentioned again and again that outfitters is using a bad quality of plastic at the base of footwear. I just want to say that in just Rs. 4000 how can you get original leather made designing shoes. It cost more than current price of the product.

Well, I am giving this review without any biasedness. I love Nike and Adidas footwear or shoes. Because of long lasting durability and unique designs. But I must say whatever I have purchased means some casual shoes of outfitters. They are really worthful. Their inner is so comfortable, even if you travel a long distance like air line service or hiking etc. You will feel delighted. Another good thing is their color combinations. You can easily match with your bottoms or jeans.

One thing I would like to mention here about the Outfitters footwear is that they have no names. Like Nike give a name to every shoe to represent its specific category. Outfitters shoes has no name just an article number mentioned on the price tag like MFF191181 which means Men’s Footwear Fall 2019 and last four digit represent the unique code of a specific design. Another thing is the way they packed the shoes at cash counter in a plastic bag that seems ridiculous.

I would suggest they need to address these two issues mentioned above. While product quality based on price is fine. They can improve, or they can launch luxury footwear collection. If you are outfitters user share your experience below in comment section.
